Conference Speakers
Keynote: Prepare for 2024 The decelerating rate of rise and, in some cases, onset of decline that characterized many industries and businesses in 2023 will extend through 2024 for many. Jeremy Bess of ITR Economics will present business strategies and tactics that address the projected changes in the economic landscape. Topics during this discussion will include: - Relevant market outlooks and discussing the issues that impact your company's profitability via resource allocation, budgets, expectations, and strategic planning.
- Global trends and their impact on the US economy.
- Labor market conditions over the next several years.
- Assessing the health of financial markets.
- And presenting an overview of the economic landscape through the rest of the decade.
About Jeremy Bess: Jeremy Bess is a vital member of ITR Economics’ team of expert economists and consultants. With a decade of consulting experience, he lends his expertise to the production of client reports, forecast reviews and research, and frequent communications with clients. Jeremy majored in economics at the University of Tampa and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. His accomplishments include being featured on The Working Lunch podcast, speaking at the 2017 World Tea Expo, presenting a pricing workshop at the 2019 Burger King Global Convention, hosting a workshop at the University of South Florida’s Executive Peer Workshop Series, and publishing several blogs and articles on economic developments. Prior to joining the ITR Economics team, Jeremy got his start at an investment management and insurance advisory firm, researching economic and financial information to inform clients on investment strategies. From there, he held various positions at a business consulting and data analysis firm, working his way up to senior director of North America consulting services, a role in which he worked closely with C-suite executives to optimize business profitability. | | | Next Generation Panel: Succession is a Journey, Not a Plan Succession planning is not a one-time event or a mere checklist to be completed; it is a continuous process that requires dedication, adaptability, and a long-term perspective. It is about nurturing the future of your business, preserving its legacy, and paving the way for sustained success. This panel discussion will provide four different perspectives on what a succession plan can look like. Moderator: - Mike O'Connell - Smart Energy Insulation
Panelists: - John and Nick Stevens - Thermal Solutions - Ohio, Inc.
- Joe McCoy - Champaign A&K Insulation, Inc.
